Biographical Info
Travis' educational interests have always been in three areas: Communication Studies, Geography and History. His Bachelor's was a dual degree in secondary education with an emphasis in social science and speech/theatre. He followed that up by moving into the Speech Communication Master's program at KSU (since renamed Communication Studies) and wrote his thesis on Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame Induction Speeches from 1962-2003. Travis is currently a Ph.D. student in the Geography Department at KSU, studying place image formation in Western film.
