Future Students

Consider Communication Studies

Nearly ever year in recent history has shown increased undergraduate and graduate student interest in the study of Communication at Kansas State. We are excited about these trends and look forward to maintaining the momentum of our department and students.

The Communication Studies major, which encompasses both communication theory and rhetorical arts, has two primary educational goals:

  1. to develop students’ ability to communicate with others
  2. to educate students to effectively evaluate the communication of others

Students need not major in Communication Studies, however, in order to benefit from our classes or join our teams. We welcome all students to experience the course material and competition that makes our department great.
